I knew Kenny from the first grade on. A good person through and through. When he was with the Raleigh Chamber, he graciously came to Apex to give our business leaders a thorough and concise update on economic development in Wake County. He was a great reflection of our excellent Broughton Class of 1967!
Ken was a good friend to so many people. He always wore a smile and never met a stranger. Little did I know that when I saw him at our last reunion in 2012 that it would be the last. I hope he is worth our Lord now.
In approximately second grade, I was having trouble hitting a softball with a bat. Kenny graciously invited me down to his house in the afternoons to practice in his yard. A simple act of kindness I have always remembered.

I was fortunate enough to live across the street from Ken for several years during grade school. Great memories of Ken's friendship.
