I remember Reid as a very kind fellow that wanted to help a lot more than he wanted to receive it. He was a good football player that I'm sure some of his teammates can attest to.
David, you are so right about Reid's kindness. One time I was over at his house, and big ol' rough and tough Reid was in the kitchen much of the day, baking homemade cookies for all of his little brothers and sisters. I was really touched by how much he really cared about them.
We played a lot of football together at Martin JH and also at Broughton. Reid was passionate about everthing he did, from playing football to playing the drums. Before I got my drumset, Reid loaned me some of his so that I could learn how to play.
