I too, share the great admiration expressed by David and the warm sentiments expressed by Mary for Carole. Her focus on the complex world of treating profoundly intellectually disabled human beings at both Dix and Butner centers say so much about her heart and mind. Carole most likely never knew how much in love I was with her all the years that we sat together in the clarinet section of the symphonic band because I was taught at the earliest age to stuff and hide my feelings. Starting every morning in first class tooting on a damn clarinet was worth it all just to get to know her a little . Before her suffering from Alziemers, Carole appears to have enjoyed having lived a meaningful and well lived life.

Happy 70th birthday, Brother! ‘Hope you laugh & dance all day!
Kenny was the kind of guy who was easy to hang out with, with a friendly smile and a genuine humility about his skills in the ego dominated sport of tennis.
My most vivid memory of good ol' Johnny is that he was a very happy guy, outgoing and readily engaged with his classmates, a true ray of sunshine!

Glad that you made another year around the sun Dan !
Hope that you find a comfy seat in an easy chair today, Donnell.
By God, you are so right, Susan. You were driving that night. The driver is always the most underappreciated player in a teenage adventure.........
